---- — Don and Shirley Morrison of South Worcester recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Reel Seafood Co. Restaurant in Albany.
Don and Shirley were married Nov. 1, 1952, in East Paterson, N.J. Don purchased Hollywood Barber Shop from Sam Conigliaro, who was the original owner, in 1982. He sold the shop in 1998 and is now the owner of Don’s Barber Shop in South Worcester.
Shirley was a legal secretary in Oneonta for 29 years, retiring in 1998.
The Morrisons have two children: Melanie Hillis and her husband, Doug; and Clayton Morrison and his fiance, Linda Grandsbury. All are of South Worcester. They have three grandchildren: Bethany Ondrick and her husband, Adam, of Massachusetts; Micah Hillis and his wife, Janette, of New Jersey; and Adam Morrison of South Worcester.
They have six great-grandchildren: Logan, Blake and twins Zoe and Colton Ondrick, and Jaden and Mia Hillis.
Don and Shirley also celebrated with a six-day trip to Delaware, visiting the ocean and dining on seafood, compliments of their family.
