LaMott was a singer of American popular standards, who died in 1995 at age 43. In 1989 she met composer/conductor David Friedman, who felt she should be making records, and offered to produce them himself. Through her recordings, LaMott’s popularity spread to a wider circle.
In “Revisiting Nancy LaMott,” Dell and Brown will add some of LaMott’s favorite holiday songs to their popular program from last year.
