At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Beucoup Blue will return to the stage at 6 On The Square.
David and Adrian Mowry are Beaucoup Blue, a Philadelphia-based father-and-son Americana duo. The duo is a Billboard Magazine World Song Contest Grand Prize Winner and the Grand Prize Winner of the Telluride Blues & Brews Acoustic Competition as well as top 40 on AMA’s Americana, Roots, & Folk radio charts.
Although blues is a staple in their repertoire, Beaucoup Blue’s original music is also a mix of folk, soul, R&B, jazz, country and bluegrass.
Tickets are $12 plus a $2 service charge, until the date of the performance or $15 at the door. Ticket price for students younger than 18 are $2, but reservations are requested for student reservations. Doors open one-hour before show time. An exhibit of photography by Oxford artist Dan Tefft will run through March 8.
In addition, tickets are on sale now for two 6OTS raffles. One is for an autographed quilt. This quilted wall-hanging has been signed by a year’s worth of 6OTS recording stars. The singer-songwriting-musicians will continue to autograph the quilt until the drawing. These tickets are $2 each or an arm’s length for $20.
The second raffle is for a 50/50, and these tickets are $10 each. Only 200 tickets were printed, so the first-place winner could win up to $1,000. There will be a second prize of a tote filled with 25 CDs. These drawings will be held at the anniversary show on June 21. All raffle proceeds support programming at 6OTS.
Future performances include Joe Jencks for a PEO fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 7, Loretta Hagen on Feb. 22, and Brooks Williams on March 8, all at 7:30 p.m.
The next open mic night will be Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
