Three members of folk/rock band Fetish Lane will perform at the Empire House in Gilbertsville on Saturday.
Original members Ed Gliha, John Edick and Kenneth Held will be accompanied by drummer Demario Reed in a performance that will include a blend of original and traditional music.
Gliha, Edick and Held have performed together for nearly 15 years and produced three studio albums. Gliha has since been performing regularly with the Woodshed Prophets in a similar venture.
According to a media release, Fetish Lane reunites as a group only occasionally.
“It’s nice to get together a few times every year for a show,” Held said in the release. “We spent so much time together playing and singing. We had great camaraderie. We get together now and it’s like we never ventured on to other things. The harmonies come back, the songs, the energy... it’s nice to relive it on occasion. John was always one for saying, ‘We just want to make people feel good, even if it’s just for a little while.”
The show will begin at 7 p.m. at the Empire House at 136 Marion Ave. For dinner reservations or information, call 783-2859.
