Party of Two to perform Sunday
Party of Two will present a concert at The Plains at Parish Homestead at 163 Heritage Road in Oneonta at 3 p.m. Sunday. The concert is free and open to the public.

‘Swamp Photos’ on display at CWC
Photographs of the beauty and mystery of wetlands by Stone Ridge artist and photographer Ruth Wetzel are on view weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through the end of December at the Catskill Watershed Corp. office at 905 Main St., Margaretville.
“Swamp Photos” is a collection of 14 color digital images of what Wetzel described in a media release as “ever changing ecosystems, unique combinations of land and water.”
Wetzel has been a working artist for more than 20 years. She studied design at State University College at Buffalo and designed textiles before receiving her Master of Fine Arts degree from Maryland Institute, College of Art. Additional study was at Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy, at Bard College and at SUNY New Paltz, where she has exhibited at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art.
Wetzel’s work has also been shown at galleries and museums throughout the East and across New York. This year her work was included in a group show in Okayama, Japan. Images of the artist’s work can be viewed at www.swampphotos.com and www.ruthwetzel.com.
Delhi Art Group presents show
The Delhi Art Group annual Holiday Art Show, titled “Peace,” opened on Nov. 13 at FoxCare on state Route 7 in Oneonta in the main lobby. Artists showing are Robert Blanton, Belgica Consuegra, Ann Law, Sandy Mattice, Kay Parisi-Hampel, Susan Priest and Marion Velechko. The artwork will be on exhibit through the end of December.
Community art show planned
Springbrook will have its inaugural community art show, “Gifts Unwrapped — Celebrating Diversity through Creative Expression,” and invites artists of all ages to submit work for the show.
The exhibition will run from Dec. 5 through Dec. 13 at the organization’s campus at 5588 State Highway 7 in Oneonta, the former St. Mary’s School. The show is free and open to the public. There will be a special opening reception for Gifts Unwrapped as part of Springbrook’s Holiday Open House from 4 to 6 p.m.
Artists may submit work in the following categories: Drawing/Illustration, Painting, Photography, Sculpture/Ceramics (other 3-dimensional art). Submissions will be accepted until Nov. 28. There may be only one entry per artist. Schools may submit work on behalf of students. There is no artwork size limit; however, Springbrook asks artists to be considerate of space limitations when choosing a piece for submission and to select content appropriate for a general audience. Size, content and appropriateness will be taken into account during the selection process.
Pieces will not be accepted for drop-off without an online entry form on file. Drop-off hours are 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. Soudtrax to perform at The Gallery

SoundTrax is a trio composed of two brothers, John and Pete Mahoney, and Pete’s daughter Aileen.
John Mahoney in on drums, percussion, vocals, harmonica; Pete Mahoney is on guitar and vocals. Aileen Mahoney is on vocals, flute, recorder, piccolo and penny whistle.
