The Fenimore Art Museum, the Glimmerglass Festival and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will present the ninth annual Cabin Fever Film Series at 7 p.m. Fridays in January and February.
The film screenings will be at the Fenimore auditorium, at 5798 State Highway 80, or the Hall Grandstand Theater, at 25 Main St. in Cooperstown.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and refreshments will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting area organization.
The series will open with 1984’s baseball film “The Natural” on Friday, Jan. 4, at the Fenimore. Roy Hobbs, played by Robert Redford, is a young man whose gift for baseball sets him apart, along with trouble.
On Jan. 11, the Fenimore will host “Chicken Run” from 2000. The story is set at Tweedy’s Chicken Farm, where any chicken who doesn’t make her egg quote can meet a “fowl” fate.
“Toy Story 3” will be shown Jan. 18 at the Hall. The third film in the “Toy Story” series sees Woody, Buzz and other toys head to day care while their owner Andy prepares for college.
Other films in the series include “Meeting Venus” on Jan. 25 at the Fenimore, “Groundhog Day” on Feb. 1 at the Fenimore, and “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” on Feb. 8 at the Hall.
