New Music Magazine said: “The Oak Ridge Boys serve as a reminder for the entire industry on how to evolve as an act over the course of time. They have lost none of their drive, their ability to select material that the public can identity with, and their delight in bringing music to the masses in concert.”
On the group’s website, www.oakridgeboys.com, Allen said: “When I go on stage, I get the same feeling I had the first time I sang with the Oak Ridge Boys. This is the only job I ever wanted to have.”
Sterban said, “Like everyone else in the group, I was a fan of the Oaks before I became a member. I’m still a fan of the group today. Being in the Oak Ridge Boys is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.”
The band has appeared before five presidents and recorded with George Jones, Brenda Lee, Paul Simon, Johnny Cash, Roy Rogers, Ray Charles and Shooter Jennings.
