---- — The West Kortright Centre in East Meredith will present its 2012 annual benefit exhibit, Mixed Bag: Odds & Ends/Ins & Outs, a collection of work from the artists at the Main View Gallery & Studio (A program of The Arc Otsego).
There is an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. This exhibit runs from Aug. 31 to Oct. 20. The public is invited to attend this reception, peruse the eclectic artistic offerings and enjoy refreshments provided by the exhibition sponsors, Brewery Ommegang and Hand-in-Hand Farm. All sales will benefit WKC programming, Arc Otsego, and the artists. All work is for sale at the show.
Main View Artistic Coordinator Zena Gurbo has curated what presenters called an “amazing, colorful, vibrant, eclectic, and affordable” collection of paintings, prints, soft and hard sculptures from the Main View’s extensive Studio Collection.
According to the release, “The Center for Self Expression celebrates the creative power of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities by creating opportunities for self-expression through the visual, performing, media and literary arts.”
