Old time band to play tonight
The second summer Concert on the Green in Bainbridge will be held at 7 tonight.
The members of First Baptist church will host a brownie and ice cream social during the concert and all are invited to arrive early for the social.
Attendees should bring a lawn chair or blanket. If it rains, the concert and refreshments will be held in the Town Hall Theatre.

Magic performances planned
The lights will come up on Artie Martello’s first of three performances of Mysterious Moments, at 7 p.m. today at The Open Eye Theater, at 960 Main St. in Margaretville. He and his assistant Phyllis Horowitz perform at 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Three restaurants will providing dinner and theater , with Binnekill Square, The Inn Between and The Hanah Resort providing patrons vouchers for preferred seating at the theaete after dinner or brunch.
Admission is $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, or $10 for those up to 25. Children ages 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge Sunday.
Space is still available for 6- to 10-year-olds in this year’s Youth Theater Workshop at The Open Eye Theater. Two weeks of camp will be offered 10 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, July 22 to Aug. 2. Carol Jones Schwartz and Lynda Sharpe will direct the camp that leads to the production of “Too Many Frogs” by Sandra Fenichel Asher. Workshop students will be joined by teen and adult actors in performances at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 3 and 4.

Lettermen to play Lake House
The Lake House concert series will continue Saturday when The Lettermen perform at 7 p.m. on the large outdoor stage.
The Lettermen were signed to Capitol records in the summer of 1961 and the group’s hits have been numerous including “Goin’ Out Of My Head/Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” “Hurt So Bad,” “Theme From A Summer Place,” “The Way You Look Tonight,” “When I Fall In Love,” “Graduation Day” and “Shangri-La.”
