Youth ensemble to host 2 shows
The Little Delaware Youth Ensemble will host two concerts Tuesday with cellist Mike Block and fiddler Hanneke Cassel.
The first will be a 10 a.m. In the Union Hunt Ballroom on the SUNY Oneonta campus. Following the performance, at 12:15 p.m., Block and Cassell will teach an improvisation workshop to any interested musicians from the community. Presenters recommend bringing instruments to the afternoon session.
The second show will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Waterfront Room in the Hunt Union.

Orpheus presents ‘Off the Hook’
Orpheus Theatre will present “Off the Hook,” the new play by local playwright V.J. Bauer, at 8 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Saturday at Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center on Market Street in Oneonta.
The show focuses on coping with death and dealing with the living.

‘After Ashley’ to be staged
SUNY Oneonta will perform “After Ashley” at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 12 and 13, as well as at 2 p.m. April 14 in Hamblin Theater in the Fine Arts Building.
The play, student directed by Andrew Tejada and written by Gina Giofriddo, centers on a teen boy navigating the joys and terrors of life.
The show is not recommended for those under 16 because of adult content. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for general admission.
Guitarist to play 6OTS
Italian virtuoso steel-string guitarist Peppino D’Agostino will play Thursday at 6 On The Square at 6 LaFayette Park in Oxford.
The musician also is a composer, arranger, singer, teacher and all-around entertainer. His style combines Italian folk music, pop songs, classical works, Irish music, country, blues, ragtime and Brazilian.
