Sing a Song of Broadway & Co. will present the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” with music by Andrew Lloyd Weber and lyrics by Tim Rice at Oneonta’s First United Methodist Church on July 24-27.
The theater group’s performers include: Patrick Abrams as Joseph, Greg Hunter as Pharaoh, Thomas Murphy as Jacob, Kevin Oettinger as Potiphar, Debra Corbin as Mrs. Potiphar, Jordan Mason as the Butler, Abby Schwarzhans as the Baker, and Megan Robbins, Lillian Katoke and Michelle Monser, sharing the major female role of Narrator.
Featured as Joseph’s 11 brothers are Alex Riba, Gavin and Walt Smith, Jordan Mason, Derek Levintritt, Tom Hafner, Freddie Schwarzhans, Brandon Waldholz, Brad Vanderhoef, David Dugan and Stephen Banks, Jr.
The adult ensemble of dancers and singers who play Egyptians, the brother’s wives and daughters, animals and other roles includes Lola Olson, Tarrah Skye Smith, Liz Hafner, Sapphira Koerner, Julian Marr, Abby Schwarzhans, Courtney Hays, Heaven Thornton, Alan Homovich and Shelby Schultz along with Eva Barberio and Buddy Noorlander, who double as members of the Children’s Choir. The youth singers help the Narrators to tell the biblical tale of Joseph and his coat of many colors with song and humor, also stepping outside their choral singing to be Ishmaelites, camels, angels and Potiphar’s office staff. The other Children’s Choir members are Asa and Mollie Dugan, Alexia Liu, Taylor Ballard, Judy Attanasio, Mary Noorlander and Lucia and Valentina Temple.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is presented in Oneonta through exclusive arrangement with R & H Theatricals NYC, and is sponsored by NBT Bank. Ticket information will be announced at a later date.
