---- — The historic Earlville Opera House will welcomes country music singer Suzy Bogguss to its main stage at 8 p.m. Saturday. Susan Kay “Suzy” Bogguss has earned multiple awards for her voice. In the 1980s and ‘90s, Suzy Bogguss released one platinum and three gold albums and charted six top-10 singles, winning the Academy of Country Music’s award for Top New Female Vocalist and the Country Music Association’s Horizon Award. She won a Grammy in 2005 for Traditional Folk Album.
Her most recent work, “American Folk Songbook” has received excellent reviews with Pop Matters weighing in that the American Folk Songbook is a “warm and beautiful record; highly recommended.”
Admission is $30, $27 for EOH members or $25 for students. Premium seating in the first four rows is an added $5. The EOH Theater is wheelchair-accessible with a ramp and a lift. The three EOH Art Galleries, the Artisan’s Gift Shop and the EOH Arts Café are open during performances.
