Catskill Choral Society to present 'Vespers'

Youth Choir to debut at performance

Catskill Choral Society will bring a touch of old and new to its spring concert this year. The group will perform Rachmaninoff’s Vespers at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, and at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the First United Methodist Church at 66 Chestnut St. in Oneonta.

Soloists Steven Nanni and Kasey Stewart will be featured.

Making its debut will be the Catskill Choral Society Youth Choir. The group is composed of children ages 7 to 14 from local communities including Franklin, Otego, Oneonta, Cooperstown, Cherry Valley and Milford.
