Roundhouse Rockers to perform

The Roundhouse Rockers, a classic rock band from Oneonta, will perform Saturday at The Butternutt Valley Golf and Recreation club. The show will start at 9:30 p.m. with a $5 cover charge.  Butternut Valley Golf and Recreation Club is at 435 Elliott Road in New Berlin. For more information, call 965-7772.

  

Big Takeover to be at Black Oak

The Big Takeover, NeeNee Rushie on lead vocals, Rob Kissner on bass, Chas Montrose on saxophone, Andrew Vogt on trombone, and Hector Becerra on drums, will play at the Black Oak Tavern at 9 p.m. Saturday to support its latest album, “Children of the Rhythm.”

The Black Oak Tavern  is at 14 Water St.

  

The Parlor Catsto play on train

The Parlor Cats will be the featured performer at The Cooperstown Blues Express on Saturday. Passengers will board at 6:30 p.m. at the Milford train depot with the three-hour train ride taking off at 7 p.m. The Parlor Cats is a Chicago blues party band from Binghamton.

The ride will be along Cooperstown and Charlotte Valley Railroad with the featured band on an outdoor car. It will return to Milford around 10 p.m. Tickets are $18 per person. A full cash bar will be available. The trip is open to those 21 and older with valid identification.

Rusted Root to play at Oneonta Theatre 

Rusted Root is back on the road and at 9 p.m. June 27, it will headline at the Oneonta Theatre. 

In honor of its 25th anniversary, Rusted Root has started an Indie-A-Gogo campaign to raise money to record its eighth studio album.
