It’s a free concert featuring three bands.

The concert will be co-headlined by two nationally touring bands: Mingo Fishtrap and Cabinet, and opened by local favorites, String of Pearls, featuring Eric Porter, Jimmy Kolet, Ed Michaels and Pearl. 

Other summer events include the NBT Bank Free Thursdays begin July 10, and a second Summer Jam show on July 26. The 22nd Chenango Blues Festival is set for Aug. 15 and 16 at the Chenango County Fairgrounds.  Information on all the Chenango Blues Association’s summer events can be found at www.chenangobluesfest.org

 

Gospel singer joins HOF show

Four-time Grammy-Award winner and four-time Dove Award winner Yolanda Adams has joined the All-Star lineup of musical performers who will appear at the concert celebrating the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s 75th Anniversary on Aug. 2 in Cooperstown.

Adams will perform three songs at the 75th Anniversary Concert event and will be joined by a lineup that includes The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, Paul Simon, Juan Luis Guerra and Bernie Williams, as well as special appearances by Hall of Famers Rod Carew, Rollie Fingers, Carlton Fisk, Juan Marichal, Phil Niekro, Ozzie Smith and Dave Winfield.

Produced by LGH19 Productions, musicians, baseball stars and celebrities from film and television will all come together for the 75th Anniversary Concert event among the cornfields and rolling hills of pastoral Cooperstown, the symbolic home of baseball.
