Earlville Opera House to host Cajun band

---- — The Earlville Opera House main stage will present the Cajun music of Jesse Lege and Joel Savoy at 8 p.m. Friday, July 19.  Lege, on vocals and accordion, and Savoy, on fiddle, will be joined by Kelli Jones-Savoy on vocals, fiddle and guitar.

Savoy has been a driving force in the Cajun renaissance. Founder of the multi-Grammy-nominated label Valcour Records and the Red Stick Ramblers.

Lege has won numerous awards from the Cajun French Music Association. He was recently inducted into the Cajun Music Hall of Fame, and he’s written songs that have become standards in the traditional repertoire.

Lege and Savoy have partnered on a number of projects including Cajun Country Revival. 

General admission is $18, $16 for EOH members, and $13 for students. Premium seating in the first four rows is an added $5. The EOH Theater is wheelchair-accessible with a ramp and a lift. The EOH Art Galleries, the Artisan’s Gift Shop, and the EOH Arts Café!
