Opera house to host Traveling Steam Show

The Earlville Opera House will welcome Americana icon Fred Eaglesmith in his five-piece Traveling Steam Show with the Ginn Sisters at 8 p.m. today.

Eaglesmith has been compared to John Prine, Woody Guthrie, Neil Young and Merle Haggard while mixing country, rock and folk in his narrative songs. 

Tickets are available online at www.earlvilleoperahouse.com or by calling EOH at (315) 691-3550. The cost is $22, $20 for EOH members, $17 for students. Premium seating in the first four rows is an added $5. The EOH Theater is wheelchair-accessible with a ramp and a lift.

The three EOH Art Galleries, the Artisan’s Gift Shop and the EOH Arts Café will be open. Refreshments will be available before the show and during intermission.

The Opera House is at 18 E. Main St. in Earlville.
