Pianist to join jazz trio at The Gallery

The Rich Mollin Jazz Trio, featuring Bill Farrish on guitar, Marcel Smith on drums and Rich Mollin on bass, will be joined by jazz pianist Fred Israel at a show at 8 p.m. Friday, May 24, at The Gallery in Stamford.

Mollin is an international performing and recording artist and bass instructor heading the bass studio at the State University College at Oneonta. Bill Farrish is jazz guitarist and teacher, and Smith is a highly professional drummer and percussionist in the Stamford area.

Israel, from New York City, will perform on The Gallery’s grand piano. This event will be performed in an intimate concert hall with recording studio sound qualities set in the heart of a fine art gallery that exhibits the abstract art of artist Timothy Touhey. 

Attendees may bring a beverage, and its pot luck to share as well.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. to tour the gallery and for the potluck.
