The fifth and final concert of the Sherburne Rotary Club’s concert series will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday and will feature Driftwood, from the Binghamton area.
One can’t fully classify the type of music Driftwood plays.
“We started off playing rock in high school. Then jazz and classical music in college. Then we dove head first into folk and bluegrass. At some point I guess we kind of met in the middle,” says guitarist/songwriter Dan Forsyth in a media release.
Gaines Park is in downtown Sherburne next to the Sherburn Library on state Route 80.
In the case of rain, signs will direct concert goers to the fire hall. The concert should end by 8:30. Food is available to purchase from the Rotary food booth. Those who attend are asked to bring their own chair or blanket.
