Murder-suicide investigated

— GILBERTSVILLE _ A possible murder-suicide is under investigation by state police in the town of Butternuts.
A man and a woman were found dead at a home on Oregon Road and a firearm was recovered, according to troopers.
The deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide and autopsies were under way Monday, troopers said.
Troopers began investigating the deaths Sunday night.
Additional information, including the names and addresses of the deceased, was expected to be released Monday afternoon.
