A 2013 Sidney Central School graduate has died of injuries from an automobile accident, an obituary said.
Jasmine Hromada, 18, of Sidney Center, died Friday at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City, according to the C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel in Sidney.
Hromada was employed by Mirabito’s Quickway in Sidney, the obituary said. She was described as a “free-spirited young woman and a talented writer, singer and dancer,” the obituary said, and she loved animals.
Hromada was the driver in a one-vehicle accident on Crane Hill Road, county Route 23, in the town of Sidney at about 4:50 p.m. Thursday, according to a state police at Sidney media report. The accident was reported as personal injury, and no troopers at the Sidney station were available Sunday to comment on the pending investigation.
