A Lunch and Learn energy workshop for businesses and nonprofit will be held April 17 at the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich.
Participants will get a an overview of the programs and incentives available to businesses and nonprofits to help them save money on their building and fleet energy expenses.
“New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, NYSEG and the federal government offers grants, incentives, and low-cost financing to local businesses to help them save energy and improve their bottom line,” said Donna Jones, director of the Chenango County Department of Planning and Development.
NYSERDA and NYSEG programs will be explained, and the meeting also will address compressed natural gas vehicles and fueling as well as other alternative fuel vehicle programs from the Central NY Clean Cities Coalition.

Job fair registration
Exhibitors at the 2013 Job Fair sponsored by the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce have until April 19 to register, the chamber said this week.
The job fair will be held April 26 at the Holiday Inn, 5206 State Route 23, Oneonta, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $50 for commercial participants and $30 for nonprofits. That includes a table, chairs and linens.
Power access access is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibitors must bring the own extension cords, which should be at least 10 feet long.
Exhibitors with large displays should inform the chamber to assure assignment to a booth against a wall.
