BJ’s GIVES $5K TO NONPROFIT
BJ’s Charitable Foundation has given $5,000 to Opportunities for Otsego Inc.
The award was one of 112 grants to nonprofits that focus on the health and well being of children and families from the BJ’s Charitable Foundation. These grants total $709,625 and were given to organizations in communities that BJ’s Wholesale Clubs serve.
The grant supports OFO’s Emergency Housing Assistance Program.
According to its website, Opportunities for Otsego has been fighting the “War on Poverty” since 1966, providing early childhood, energy, health and nutrition, housing and employment and victim services.
The BJ’s Charitable Foundation has donated nearly $17 million to more than 2,000 community organizations since its inception in 2005.
