Made In America store adds local products

A taste of Oneonta is now available on the shelves of the Made In America store in Elma, according to a media release.

Sauces, rubs and marinades made by Brooks' House of Bar-B-Q have joined the ranks of featured 100 percent USA-made products, the release said. The Made In America Store, owned by Mark Andol, is located at 900 Maple Road in Elma, which is in the Buffalo Niagara region.

The Made in America Store opened April 3, 2010, according to the retailer's website, and it is the only general merchandise store in the country that sells 100 percent American-made foods and products, including packaging. Merchandise ranges from groceries and clothing to recreational and pet products.

The store's mission is to restore U.S. manufacturing jobs by providing American consumers a brick-and-mortar store and e-commerce site that guarantee products sold are "entirely American in materials and labor," the website said. The store offers a 10 percent discount to active duty and retired U.S. military personnel, the release said. For more information, visit www.MadeInAmericaStore.com.
