United Way, Sego team up

The United Way of Delaware and Otsego Counties has partnered with Sego Cafe to offer a gift to donors. Donors making gifts of $25 or more will receive a coupon from Sego Cafe, located at 291 Main St. in Oneonta.

According to cafe owner Alan Cleinman, "The card that United Way is issuing will also provide an opportunity for donors to actually pay for their cup of Panache coffee, instead of receiving it free. Then, 100 percent of the payment will pass directly through to United Way. The other option will be for the patron to receive a $1 discount on meals over $5, with a matching amount going back to United Way."

United Way will accept donations for the 2007 campaign until Jan. 31. Donations can be sent to United Way of Delaware and Otsego Counties, P.O. Box 631, Oneonta, NY, 13820, or made online at www.helpuwaydo.org. For information, call 432-8006.
