He pointed out that the entire staff of the school has been locally recruited. William Diminick, business officer, is also on the administrative staff. He and his wife reside in Stamford.

Carlton Hatch of Delhi is in charge of the maintenance staff; Mrs. Marie Colliton, Grand Gorge, is supervisor of food service; Mrs. Jean Simmons, R.N., of Stamford is in charge of the medical facilities.

Mr. and Mrs. Allen, their son, Scott, 13, and daughter, Susan, 5, live in the cottage at the rear of the 21 room main house on the former 160 acre Andrews estate on Route 10 in South Kortright.

“The boys who will be attending the school are being selected with great care. Our aim is a short term rehabilitation program in which we propose to help the individual boy with his personal problems and at the same time teach him new skills and techniques, and acquaint him with new opportunities, so he may return to his own home and community and become a credit to both.”
