Senior Menus: Feb. 17-21, 2014

The following are senior-meals menus for the week of Feb. 17 through 21    

CHENANGO COUNTY

Menus

Monday: Closed for President’s Day

Tuesday: Chili con carne, brown rice, corn bread and pears and cottage cheese. 

Wednesday: Chicken stuffed with broccoli and cheese, garlic herb potatoes, spinach, strawberry shortcake with topping and rye bread.

Thursday: Navy bean soup, ham and cheese on croissant, potato salad and fruit pie.  Wednesday meal served as evening meal in McDonough.

Friday: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, green beans, chocolate chip cookie and Italian bread. Evening meal at South Otselic

Coventry: Windy Hill Senior Center, Coventry Town Hall, state Route 235, Tuesday and Thursday, 656-8602.

Greene: Brightman Senior Center, Birdsall Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 656-4789.

McDonough: Genegantslet Activity Center, Methodist Church, two Thursdays per month, 647-5666.

New Berlin: Unadilla Valley Senior Activity Center, First United Methodist Church, 51 South Main St., Tuesday and Thursday, 847-6350.

Norwich: Westside Park Senior Center, First Baptist Church, West Park Place, weekdays, 334-2910.

Sherburne: The Welcome Center, Grace Manor Center, Knapp Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 674-4600.

South Otselic: Plum Valley Forever Young Center, Methodist Church, Church Hill Road, two Fridays per month, (315) 653-4411.

DELAWARE COUNTY

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Menus

Monday: Closed for President’s Day.

Tuesday: Shepherd’s pie, Brussels sprouts, cottage cheese and oranges, whole wheat bread and sherbet.

Wednesday: Pot roast with gravy, baked potato, string beans, orange pineapple juice, whole wheat bread and rice pudding.

Thursday: Maple mustard chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, parslied cauliflower, whole wheat bread and pineapple tidbits. 

Friday: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, green sunshine salad, whole wheat bread and sugar cookies.
