Senior Menus: Feb. 10-14

The following are senior-meals menus for the week of Feb. 10 through 14.



Monday: Spaghetti and meatballs with sauce, garden salad, sweet peas, birthday cake and garlic bread.

Tuesday: Pork loaf with gravy, baked sweet potato, creamed corn, pineapple tidbits, multi-grain bread and birthday cake.

Wednesday: Breaded lemon pepper fish with tartar sauce, rice pilaf, Brussels sprouts, bread pudding with raisins and topping and rye bread.

Thursday: Meatloaf with gravy, red skinned mashed potatoes, zucchini squash, apricots and cottage cheese and oatmeal bread.

Friday: Chicken cordon bleu, baked potato and sour cream, green bean casserole, side of cranberry sauce, cherry cheesecake and whole wheat bread.


Coventry: Windy Hill Senior Center, Coventry Town Hall, state Route 235, Tuesday and Thursday, 656-8602.

Greene: Brightman Senior Center, Birdsall Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 656-4789.

McDonough: Genegantslet Activity Center, Methodist Church, two Thursdays per month, 647-5666.

New Berlin: Unadilla Valley Senior Activity Center, First United Methodist Church, 51 South Main Street, Tuesday and Thursday, 847-6350.

Norwich: Westside Park Senior Center, First Baptist Church, West Park Place, weekdays, 334-2910.

Sherburne: The Welcome Center, Grace Manor Center, Knapp Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 674-4600.

South Otselic: Plum Valley Forever Young Center, Methodist Church, Church Hill Road, two Fridays per month, (315) 653-4411.


Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Monday: Ham steak with pineapple, scalloped potatoes, steamed peas, cran-grape juice, whole wheat bread and tapioca pudding.

Tuesday: Country fried steak, roasted potatoes, glazed carrots, three-bean salad, whole wheat bread and diced pears.

Wednesday: Cheese ravioli, winter blend vegetables, tossed salad, garlic bread and pineapple upside down cake.

Thursday: Tangy baked chicken, parslied potatoes, Butternut squash, cranberry sauce, whole wheat bread and sliced peaches.

Friday: Roast pork tenderloin, sweet potatoes, mixed vegetables, applesauce, whole wheat bread and cinnamon baked apples.
