Mayor Hotaling also asked for a private audit of the village books, pointing out that the biennial state audit is not sufficient. That also was tabled for action April 4.
The mayor requested that the proposed budget be gone over item by item, and the board agreed to do that at the April 8 meeting.
Mayor Hotaling announced the following appointments:
Official newspaper, The Oneonta Star; depository, Milford Branch, Wilber National Bank; clerk-treasurer, Millard Armstrong, reappointed; village attorney, William K. Atchinson; assessors, the village trustees; commissioner of streets, water and parks, Gordon Woodrow; recreation commissioner, Charles Osborn, and acting mayor Stanley Martin.
