"The Beginner's Guide to Growing Heirloom Vegetables" has information on the 100 easiest vegetables you can grow. Author Marie Iannotti tells you the background behind many of these tasty varieties and also tells you how to grow them successfully.

Brett Blumenthal's "52 Small Changes" allows you make small, simple changes to your life at the rate of once a week. Do these changes one at a time, over the course of 52 weeks, and you'll have made great strides and big changes that can have lasting results. This book can help you eat more healthfully, take up exercise to get fit, learn a new hobby and so much more.

Children's Books

Lola has a new baby brother and whatever the situation, Lola has the perfect book to read to him. Brothers are a lot of work, as you'll find out in "Lola Reads to Leo" by Anna McQuinn.

Ted keeps looking at a boring wall. What could he do with it? Well, take a little ketchup, add some mustard, some imagination, and what do you have? Find out in "Artist Ted" by Andrea Beaty.

"My Big Word Book" by Roger Priddy is a board book for the younger set. Lots of pictures, grouped by subject, contain the word printed underneath. Children will love to point and say the words, while answering questions from the text.

"The Great Molasses Flood" occurred in Boston in 1919 when a huge tank of molasses exploded creating a sea of sludge. Buildings collapsed, people were hurt, and what a mess it made. Author Deborah Kops writes of this strange historical incident and photos from the period are included.
