Sign up for fall programs

Registration for the fall series of children's programs is now open. Programs begin Sept. 4 and continue through Dec. 20. All programs require registration, which can be done in person or by calling the library at 432-1980. Feel free to call us if you have any questions.

Library Lap Sit

Lap Sit is a reading program for infants from birth to 13 months accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Activities include stories, songs, action rhymes and more. The program is scheduled for Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 9:50.

Tiny Tots

This is a program for children ages 14 to 24 months accompanied by a parent or caregiver. It is scheduled for Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. There will be stories, songs and other activities each week.

Toddler Time

This program is for 2- and 3 year-olds accompanied by an adult. It includes stories, songs, crafts and other fun activities. Programs will be held Tuesdays from 9:30 to 10 a.m., Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10 a.m., and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m., and you choose one of these times.

After School 4-7 Years

Each week children will be reading stories, playing games, singing songs and making crafts. Children who are 4- to 7 years-old will meet Tuesdays from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. Parents may attend.

Afternoon Adventures

Afternoon Adventures meets on Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and is for children ages 8 to 12. During September, the group will read "My Side of the Mountain" by Jean Craighead George followed by a fun craft.

Missing Magazines

Due to a variety of reasons, we are missing some magazines from our collection. If you have any of these issues and would be willing to donate them to the library, we would be most appreciative.

Any of these magazines are from this year can be dropped off at the circulation desk during our regular business hours which are listed below.

Library Hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; closed Sunday.
