Genealogy and eBook classes to be offered

(Continued)

Non Kindle Device: 1:30 p.m. May 1; 6:30 p.m. May 2; 10:30 a.m. May 7; 11 a.m. May 9. This will include Nooks, Sony eReaders, mobile devices, and reading within an Internet browser. If you are using a Nook or other eReader device that does not support apps, you will need to bring your own laptop to fully participate. You may still come to learn if you are unable to bring your own laptop. Most mobile devices are compatible with the app. If you would like to read books using your Internet browser, you should sign up for this class. Any browser capable device will work – smartphone, computer, tablet.

Audiobooks: 2:30 p.m. May 3. This class includes mp3 players, computers, iPods, etc. Software is needed to listen to audiobooks on most players and computers. Unless you have an App compatible device, you will need to bring your own laptop to fully participate. You may still come to learn if you are unable to bring your own laptop.

The options to read eBooks keep coming. So, if you have any questions about what class you should take, just call and ask. There is an option for everyone to use devices for e-reading.

Library Hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; closed Sunday.
