Author to help writers find their voice

“You Can’t Make This Stuff Up”

by Lee Gutkind is a guide to writing creative nonfiction. There are many different types of true stories from memoir to literary journalism. The author illustrates each type and gives you exercises to practice. He’ll also help you define your concept and establish a writing process to help complete your story. Gutkind is the author of more than 30 books and the founder of “Creative Nonfiction” magazine.

Outsiders are never permitted entrance to the monastery of Saint-Gilbert-Entreles-Loups. The monks live and work in complete silence, except for their world famous chants. When choir director is murdered, Chief Inspector Armand Gamache and Jean-Guy Beauvoir enter in order to discover the murder.
