The Huntington Memorial Library is hosting a presentation on the New York State of Health Marketplace and Navigator program at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7. This is a chance for uninsured individuals younger than 65 to learn more about the new health insurance options available through the Marketplace. Topics to be covered will include: Role of the Navigator, Qualified Health Plans (10 Essential benefits), Tax Credits & Subsidies.
This informational session is free and open to the public. Please call the library or stop by to register. Don’t miss it!
In addition, you can make appointments with trained Navigators who will help you through the online process of signing up for health insurance. A local Navigator will be at the Library on Mondays and Thursdays in November and December. You must call (800) 231-0744 to make an appointment.

Internet Resources for the Genealogist will be offered from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 29; 10 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 5 and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 6.
Genealogy Research Time will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 7. Walk-ins are welcome.
One-on-One Genealogy Research Assistance will also be offered. Call to schedule an appointment by Friday.
Ebook classes for Kindle (and Kindle App) will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and 31 and Nov. 5, 10 a.m. Oct. 30 and Nov. 1 and 5:30 p.m. Nov. 7.
Non-Kindle users can sign up for classes at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 29 and Nov. 7, 1:30 p.m. Nov. 4 and 6, and 5:30 p.m. Nov. 5.
Audiobooks will be the topic of classes 1:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and 3:30 Nov. 6.
Computers will be provided. Registration is required. All classes run approximately one hour.
Library Hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; closed Sunday.
