To the “Think Local First” campaign, which kicked off Dec. 10 at Springbrook in Milford.

The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce and the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce have initiated the campaign to support local businesses and economy.

At the kick-off event, Jeff Haggerty of Ace Hardware, Betsy Westad Cunningham of Artware, Chad Welch of Smith Cooperstown and Scott White of the Bank of Cooperstown addressed the purchasing power of dollars in the local economy, and the importance of supporting small businesses in the region.
