To SUNY Oneonta sorority Mu Sigma Upsilon, for hosting a step exhibition and stroll show competition to benefit breast cancer research.

The multicultural society’s “Turn Up the Volume Part V,” held at the Hunt Union Ballroom, featured step teams from sororities and fraternities from colleges around the Northeast to compete for prizes.

A portion of the admission charge goes to Keep A Breast Foundation, a youth-focused nonprofit breast cancer organization.

The event began six years ago to raise funds for ovarian cancer research and treatment and highlights the need for awareness and education.
