The latest is a 5.2-mile hiking trail outside the hamlet of Andes. The trail was a partnership between the city Department of Environmental Protection, hiking groups and local officials.
There are many restrictions put on residents of the New York City watershed, so we’re glad to see the public have a chance to take advantage of what the area has to offer.
