It would have been appropriate to point out, in the article on the history of the propane pipeline in today’s Star, the two disastrous failures of the line:
1. The North Blenheim rupture that killed people; and
2. The Quaker Hill valve failure that destroyed property.
I sure hope the new high-pressure methane line that will run across our farm is installed and monitored much more securely than the existing propane line with its history of catastrophic failures.
