I’d like to state that in this culture of rush, rush, rush and instant everything, there are still some caring people out there.
On Jan. 29, I fell on ice in my driveway and couldn’t get up.
A caring young gentleman who was driving a Texaco oil truck went by and backed up and came and got me on my feet, picked up my cane and helped me to my house and even got the rest of my groceries in for me.
I hope that young man reads this, as he surely deserves a public thank you.
