Powers’ integrity a rarity in politics
I have known James Powers for nine years. He supplies sweet corn for my small, self-serve, honor system farm stand in West Laurens. During that time, I have gotten to know a man with absolute honesty, integrity and compassion for his friends, family and the people of Otsego County.
Although we disagree on some issues, he always listens to my point of view thoughtfully and we can discuss any issue calmly and respectfully. That is one of the things that is sorely lacking in our national political discourse.
I am proud to call JP a friend and would recommend a vote for him on Election Day.
