New Yorkers want access to safe, healthy, properly labeled food. New Yorkers want to make informed choices about their food. Labeling has been going on for a century, and pasteurized, homogenized, irradiated or concentrate foods must all be labeled. Even peanuts get labeled.
Shouldn’t we label franken-fish? This might even be something the New York state Legislature could manage to do before end of session. They managed it in Vermont.
