---- — After an exciting and very lively political campaign season and well-attended election, Richfield Springs held its first 2014 Town Board meeting Monday evening, Jan. 20, at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting was conducted by our re-elected Town Supervisor Francis J. Enjem. Two new board members, Fred Eckler and Paul Palumbo, were also present, along with incumbents Laurie Bond and Mary Margaret Snyder. Resumes were read from residents who were applying for the vacant position on the Town Planning Board, and Dan Sullivan, a local farmer, was appointed to the position when board members voted 3-2 in favor (Mr. Enjem, Mr. Palumbo, Ms. Snyder in favor. Mrs. Bond and Mr. Eckler against).
The meeting was well conducted as the board members begin to pull together to improve the overall management of the town and work toward improving the local economy. Congratulations Mr. Enjem and his board! Go Richfield!
