Anderson will preserve quality of life

Election time is rapidly approaching. This year is very important because there is a clear distinction between: (1) those candidates who are concerned about the long-term economic development of our area while maintaining the quality of life in our region and (2) those candidates who are in favor of short-term economic solutions for our communities riddled with many negative side effects.

Stuart Anderson, a candidate for the county representative position in the town of Otego and Laurens, is in favor of the first option. He has been very active in Otego to promote long-term economic solutions to our problems. Most importantly, his background in agriculture and his extensive knowledge of the difficulties facing our town and county are important qualities for a candidate. He has a dual vision of the future of our beautiful heritage: maintain the quality of our rural life while developing plans to enhance the economic development of our region. Short-term natural gas solutions with many adverse side effects are not on his agenda.

Having been involved with him on the Concerned Citizens of Otego committee over the past few years, we have witnessed his amazing dedication for our way of life and his vast knowledge of the issues facing our county. A vote for Anderson is a vote for the quality of life we enjoy in our region. Help maintain this quality with a vote for Anderson.
