Culvert work set on Route 51

NEW LISBON _ The state Department of Transportation will perform culvert work beginning at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 51 between county routes 12 and 16 in the town of New Lisbon.

The road will be closed to through-traffic in the northbound and southbound directions of Route 51 between routes 12 and 16.

Access will be maintained for local traffic. A marked detour will be in place for through traffic.

The closure will remain in place until the work is completed by 7 p.m. Thursday.
