Research show to feature SUCO faculty

ONEONTA _ The eighth annual Faculty Research Show at the State University College at Oneonta will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. The show will highlight research projects conducted by SUCO faculty from 29 academic departments and programs with collaborators from 17 institutions.

Faculty will present 62 programs representing the work of 140 contributing authors from SUCO and affiliated universities, according to a news release. The show will be held in the Morris Conference Center.

Before the show, seven alumni of SUCO science programs will participate in a panel discussion from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Little Theater in Alumni Hall to describe how academic experiences have impacted their professional lives. Both events are open to the public.

The Faculty Research Show will feature multi-disciplinary presentations from the natural and applied sciences to the humanities and arts to social sciences, including the following:

ä Sven Anderson, art department, "Digital Painting."

The research show is sponsored by the Grants Development Office, Provost's Office and College Advancement Office. For more information, call 436-2479.
