Man injured in ATV crash
OTEGO _ A 37-year-old Otego-area man was injured in an ATV
crash on Upper Green Street late Tuesday night, state police at
Oneonta said Thursday.
James Bush lost control of a 2002 Kawasaki four-wheeler and
struck a fence, troopers said.
He had multiple addresses, they said, but he is from the Otego
area.
Bush, who suffered a head injury, was transported to A.O. Fox
Memorial Hospital in Oneonta and then to Albany Medical Center,
where he was listed in fair condition Thursday night.
Troopers said it is illegal to ride an all-terrain vehicle on a public
highway and the crash remains under investigation.
There were two other ATV riders with Bush at the time of the
crash, troopers said.
It was not immediately clear if Bush was wearing a helmet, they
said.
