May 02, 2009 04:00 am Repair work on Interstate 88 will begin Monday in Schoharie County, the state Department of Transporation said in a media release. Guardrails will be fixed on eastbound I-88 between the Otsego County line and Exit 20 (Richmondville) beginning at 8 a.m. in the town of Richmondville. Motorists will encounter a driving-lane closure within the work zone. The work will be completed Monday, weather permitting. Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone, the release said, and two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver's license suspension.
