May 08, 2008 04:00 am MARYLAND _ A Schoharie County man accused of stabbing a Schenevus resident at his home Sunday has waived his felony hearing time limit. Gerald W. Jenkins Jr., 44, is scheduled to appear this Tuesday in Maryland Town Court for control purposes, assistant district attorney Michael Trosset said Tuesday. Jenkins had been scheduled for a felony hearing Tuesday night on a first-degree assault charge. He is also charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of weapon, a misdemeanor. Jenkins went to Dean Drysdale's home on county Route 34 and stabbed him several times with a kitchen-type knife in the chest, back, arms and hands, deputies said. Drysdale, 40, remained in stable condition at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital on Tuesday. Deputies said the two men had a dispute involving a woman they both knew.
