May 12, 2008 07:42 am COOPERSTOWN _ In Otsego County Court on May 2 before Judge Brian Burns, an indictment was handed up charging Jeremy Ryan, 36, of Edmeston, with second-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree grand larceny and four counts of third-degree burglary. According to court records, the incidents occurred in the towns of Exeter, Edmeston and Laurens in 2007. Ryan is being held at the Otsego County jail on $50,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned May 30. Also in court May 2 before Judge Burns: James S. Rundblad, 51, address unavailable, was charged in an indictment with driving while intoxicated. According to court records, the incident occurred Feb. 23 in the town of Decatur. Rundblad is scheduled to be arraigned June 6. Jerry M. O'Dell, 25, of Oneonta, was sentenced to one-to-three years in prison for fourth-degree grand larceny. According to court records, he had pleaded guilty to the charge March 14; the incident occurred Oct. 16 in the town of Oneonta. O'Dell was assessed a $270 surcharge and crime victims' fee and a $50 DNA fee. Michael A. Rojas pleaded innocent at arraignment to a DWI charge. According to court records, the incident occurred Nov. 10 in the town of Oneonta. Rojas was jailed in lieu of $15,000 and is scheduled to return to court June 6. John Dobesh II, 36, of Oneonta, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl, and was sentenced to five years' probation. According to court records, the incident occurred July 24 in the village of Cooperstown. Dobesh also was ordered to perform 500 hours of community service. He was assessed a $50 DNA fee and a $270 surcharge and crime victims' fee. Joshua Swindell, 26, of Oneonta, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, cocaine. According to court records, the incident occurred Jan. 17 in the city of Oneonta. Swindell was sentenced to three years in prison and 11/2 years post-release supervision. He was forced to forfeit $6,965 and was assessed a $50 DNA fee and a $270 surcharge and crime victims' fee. Timothy Pirone, 38, of Oneonta, pleaded innocent at arraignment to a DWI charge. According to court records, the incident occurred Jan. 9 in the town of Oneonta. Pirone, who is free on $1,000 bail, is scheduled to return to court May 30. Dennis R. Martin, 30, of Unadilla, pleaded innocent at arraignment to a DWI charge. According to court records, the incident occurred Jan. 8 in Unadilla. Martin was released on his own recognizance to return to court July 16.
