May 22, 2009 04:00 am DELHI _ A Delhi junior coordinated a day of fasting at the high school on Thursday to raise awareness of genocide around the world. Stephanie Chytalo, 17, said 33 fellow students wore specially designed white T-shirts to bring attention to the subject. Each shirt had a quote from Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel on the back, and various accounts of genocide on the front. "It has gotten people talking about the subject," she said, which is currently affecting people in places like Darfur in Sudan.
